The Otago Regional Council is considering running a once-a-day public transport service between Ōamaru and Dunedin. Have your say on this proposal.
This proposed service would be operated on full-size buses.
This service would be separate from the community shuttle.
The proposed service would likely operate once a day, seven days a week, from Ōamaru (North Ōamaru going via Central Ōamaru and South Ōamaru) to Dunedin and back to Ōamaru.
We’d like to know your thoughts about this proposed service.
Your feedback will help us to see what people may want and prefer in such a service, along with helping to shape key details of the service, such as departure times.
Survey closes 5pm, Wednesday 6 May.
After the survey closes, our team will analyse the survey data and create a report in May.
This report will then be presented to Council in June.
If the proposed service goes into operation, it would be in place before the end of 2026.
Feel free to contact us if you have any questions about the survey or the proposed service.
