A Councillor briefing will be scheduled for late August, ahead of consultation with the Manuherekia on flows and water quality provisions likely to be included in the Land and Water Regional Plan when it is notified in June next year. That consultation will be in the latter half of 2023.

The approach to providing Council with flows for the Manuherekia River will be;

• The hydrology and ecology reports will be completed; and
• TAG will provide feedback on those reports; and
• ORC staff will make recommendations to Council on flows that will inform policy recommendations
