During and after a flood, the ORC identifies the damage to our flood protection, drainage and river management infrastructure and prioritises it for repair.

We are required to make the repair programme available to affected communities within three months of the event.

• October 2024 (Coastal and Central Otago)
• September 2023 (Central Otago and Queenstown Lakes)
• July/August 2022 (four successive events impacting different areas across Otago)
