Spray control notice

Otago Regional Council wishes to advise the public that it intends to carry out weed control on the Pleasant River and Waikouaiti River estuaries.

The target species, Spartina, will be controlled by staff and contractors using Gallant Ultra with hand-gun or knapsack application.

Work is planned to start in early November 2023 and may continue intermittently as weather permits until 22 December 2023.
