Venue: Gather just south of the old Main Road bridge over the Shag River at 1pm. To get there, turn off SH1 onto Bushey Park Rd, then left at the intersection of Bushy Hill Road.
The Shag River Catchment group are holding a short, hands-on event for all.
Hear from Otago Freshwater fish expert Pete Ravenscroft about the what, where, why and how about these amazing wee fish we call whitebait.
Get involved with installing hay bales for whitebait to spawn on.
This will be a short, hands-on, and interesting event for all!
Bring sturdy outdoor footwear, your thermos, a bite to eat and your enthusiasm.
