Thursday 8 April 2021

2pm - - 7pm

Venue: Glenorchy Community Hall

Topic: How the physical environment at the Head of Lake Wakatipu could change in the future, and what might we do to adapt?
What could happen to the physical environment of the Head of Lake Wakatipu area in the future, and what might we do? You are invited to the second session of a series of events aimed at developing a natural hazards adaptation plan for the Head of Lake Wakatipu area in the face of its changing environment.
Drop in any time between 2-7pm on April 8th to have a chat with our friendly team about the changing environment and future risks. We will be talking about how river and delta changes and expected impacts of climate change might alter natural hazards. We are also looking forward to having discussions with you about different adaptation approaches, and what these mean to the local community.
