Wondering what is happening with buses over the holiday period?
The following schedules apply to Dunedin buses over the Christmas period:
Christmas Day – No bus service*
Boxing Day – Public Holiday timetable
New Year’s Day – Public Holiday timetable
2nd January – Public Holiday timetable
*The Otago Heritage Bus Society will be running its “Suburban Rumbler” service. This service runs from Normanby to St Clair by gold-coin donation on ChristmasDay. You can find bus schedule on their Facebook page: otagoheritagebus
Good news for those who will be attending New Year’s Eve celebrations.
To help residents and visitors get home later in the evening, the ORC is running extended bus services.
You’ll be able to get home on the bus, with extended public bus services running from the city until around 1.30am.

Work on Dundas Street starts on 7th January and will run for approximately 7 months. The Ridge Runner (Route 15) will not be able to access parts of Dundas Street, so diversions will be in place.
