The spray will be applied from a helicopter, and only juvenile willows and growth on the river beaches will be targeted.

Holders of known water takes have been advised separately of thee operations.

Actual dates  of spraying will depend upon weather and contractor availability. Spraying is planned to commence on 6 April and be completed by the end of May.
