Otago Regional Council will be spraying scheduled drains and waterways in East and West Taieri from 1 November 2024 to 15 June 2025.
Clutha District Council is leading the local response, supported by emergency services and partner agencies. ORC is actively assisting.

Otago Regional Council will be spraying scheduled drains and waterways in East and West Taieri from 1 November 2024 to 15 June 2025.

1 November 2024 to 15 June 2025.
This activity is carried out to keep the drains and waterways in our flood control and land drainage schemes free from vegetation build-up and control overgrown willows within the Taieri River.
Work will be carried out by ORC staff and external contractors.
