The Otago Regional Public Transport Plan (RPTP) is strategic document that guides the planning and delivery of public transport services and infrastructure in Otago. It contains our vision and objectives which will guide the implementation of the plan over the next 10 years, 2021 to 2031. It outlines progress since the last RPTP and talks to the challenges we face.
The vision “Inclusive, accessible, and innovative public transport that connects Otago and contributes positively to our community, environment and economy.” This vision is supported by key priorities which are customer focus, Environment and health, innovation and funding.
The draft Otago Regional Public Transport Plan (RPTP) is now open for consultation and closes 2 May 2025.
