Proposed Plan Change 3B (Pomahaka catchment minimum flow) introduced a primary and supplementary allocation and minimum flow regime for the Pomahaka catchment. It alsoestablished a ribbon aquifer where the groundwater is considered as surface water. Council notified Proposed Plan Change 3B (Pomahaka catchment minimum flow) on Saturday 16 August 2014 and released its decisions on Saturday 14 February 2015.
Proposed Plan Change 3B (Pomahaka catchment minimum flow) has had legal effect from 16 August 2014. It was made fully operative on 1 June 2015.
The proposed plan change was notified on the 16 August 2014.
Following hearing of submissions, the Plan Change became operative on 1 June 2015.
