Use this estimator to look up the estimated rates for your property in 2026-27.
The rates estimation below is based on what is proposed in the draft Annual Plan 2026-27, but figures could change when it is finalised. It is important to note that the estimator uses valuations from 2025-26 and these are not final. This estimator is to help you understand the rates impact of the draft annual plan.
A rates calculator showing final amounts, and invoices will be sent in September 2026. Actual rates will be based on a property’s valuation at 30 June 2026 – noting properties in the Dunedin district and Central Otago have been revalued by QV and this will be reflected in the final rates.
