The Opportunity

We are looking for a Revenue Analyst to join our Finance team on a permanent, full time (37.5 hours per week) basis, in our busy Dunedin office.

The key components of this role will be relating to rates systems and rate activities, dealing with ratepayer queries ad rates reconciliations, as well as working analytics, to ensure we are continuously improving our current systems and processes.

As a Revenue Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Investigating and resolving rates queries received by phone, in-person and email
  • Maintain process and procedure documentation
  • Processing and completing revenue related reconciliations including journal entries

About You

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or Mathematics, or equivalent level of ‘on the job learning’
  • 5 years’ experience processing accounting transactions and journals and preparing reconciliation
  • Advanced excel skills and a high level of proficiency in other Microsoft office products
  • An understanding of the customer experience and the importance of the customer
  • Self-managed and can take the initiative
